Welcome to KeepNails. By downloading, accessing, or using the KeepNails app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

1. Not Medical Advice

KeepNails is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

While KeepNails is designed using evidence-based psychological frameworks (such as Habit Reversal Training and the ComB model) to assist in managing Body-Focused Repetitive Behaviors (BFRBs), the app is intended for self-management and educational purposes only. Always seek the advice of your physician or a qualified mental health provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical or psychological condition.

2. User Accounts

To access certain features, including cloud backups, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

3. KeepNails Pro Subscriptions

KeepNails offers an optional premium subscription ("KeepNails Pro") that unlocks advanced features, including unlimited history, AI insights, and cloud backups of your progress photos.

• Payment will be charged to your Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage and cancel your subscription by going to your Google Play Account Settings after purchase.

4. User Conduct

You agree to use KeepNails only for its intended purpose. You may not attempt to interfere with the app's operation, reverse-engineer its infrastructure, or use the AI features to generate harmful, illicit, or inappropriate content.

5. AI Features and Disclaimer

KeepNails utilizes artificial intelligence to generate personalized nudges and progress photo captions. While we strive for an encouraging and supportive tone, AI-generated content is provided "as is." We do not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or absolute suitability of AI-generated insights.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, KeepNails and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the app.

7. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
